FIELD: naval seismic exploration for obtaining seismic images in presenting details of complex geological objects at stage of oil and gas prospecting; study of near-bottom sections. SUBSTANCE: receivers are used for excitation and recording of reflected waves along profile. Source and receiver are moved over profile by straight and opposite courses accompanied by change of distance between source and receiver. Source is moved by means of additional vessel at fixed distance between this vessel and main vessel; additional vessel is running at the same speed. Receiver moved by main vessel is placed along profile at definite angle of inclination relative to vertical; special device (condep) secured at end of receiver is kept at definite depth in course of motion. proposed method includes accumulation of data at various depths and processing of these data. Double summation is effected by common fixed depth point. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
