FIELD: organic chemistry, more particularly chemistry of azocompounds which are useful as acid-base indicators. SUBSTANCE: claimed invention describes novel chemical compound, namely 1-(2-thienyl)-2-(4-nitro-2-sulfophenylazo)-3- trifluoromethyl-1,3-propanedione (nisulphozane II). EFFECT: improved sensitivity of the reagent.
