FIELD: microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new microorganism culture producing highly viscous exopolysaccharide. New strain Azotobacter vinelandii (Lipman) "ВКПМ" B-5933 produces up to 10 g/l exopolysaccharide exhibiting high physico-mechanical and chemical properties (at 28-30 C, pH = 6.8-7.2 under conditions of aeration and shaking).
