FIELD: medicine, cardiology. SUBSTANCE: method is based upon assumption that myocardial infraction provokes changes in leucocytary formula of blood, and nature of these changes may be used to predict development of complications in patients affected with myocardial infraction. When patients are admitted into stationary, ratio of granulocyte number to granulocyte number in their blood is determined. If ratio is more than 4.0 development of complicated course of disease can be predicted. Method is simple and can be carried out in a few minutes in any clinical laboratory. EFFECT: simple, quick and accurate prognosis method.
