FIELD: chemical, pharmaceutical and microbiological industries. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises microwave generator, sterilization chamber consisting of heating compartment and isothermal compartment, cooler, infrared pyrometer, microcontroller, and mechanisms for feeding, transporting and discharging ampoules. Heating compartment is formed of plurality of n n≥2 2 sections of rectangular waveguide. These sections are joined together by their wide walls provided with openings. Sections are electrically connected by connecting means. Transportation mechanism makes it possible to organize discharge of ampoules by gravity according to timing program, thereby permitting to sterilize thermally labile ampule-enclosed preparations.
