FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: catalyst for hydrofining of oil fractions contains, mas. %: MoO3, 14-21; NiO and CoO, 3-8; P2O5, 0.5-6; Al2O3, the balance. Compounds of active components are applied to aluminum oxide with precipitation of salts of metals of groups VIII and VI of the Periodic system, and also phosphorus with subsequent molding of catalytic mass in form of extrudate, drying, calcination of produced granules. During synthesis of catalyst the active components are introduced into aluminium hydroxide in form of complex solution of salts of metals of VIII and VI stabilized with phosphoric acid provided pH of phosphoric acid solution amounts to 0.5-2.5 at temperature of 40-60 C. EFFECT: provision of production of catalyst with high activity in reactions of hydraulic desulfurization of oil fractions. 1 tbl
