BACKWARD SCATTERING SHEET MATERIAL (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

Abstract RU 2074095 C1

FIELD: cellular backward scattering sheet material or backward scattering sheet material with sealing element resistant to decomposition by agents in base to which sheet material is applied. SUBSTANCE: backward scattering coating has barrier layer of sealing member which is made in the form of film resistant to plasticizer and impermeable for monomer plasticizers. Film is made of polyester, nylon, polyvinylidene chloride, copolymer of ethylene with vinyl alcohol, fluorinated polymer or metal. Sheet material features flexibility ensuring its winding on mandrel with diameter of 0.32 cm at temperature about 0 C and impact strength withstanding the impact of at least 450 cm•N at 0 C. Besides, sheet material is flexible enough o be wound on mandrel with diameter of 0.32 cm at temperature of minus 23 C and impact strength withstanding the impact of 1100 cm•N at temperature of 0 C or 1800 cm•N at temperature of minus 23 C without failure. Barrier layer is made of material which is not disintegrated under the effect of plasticizer from dioctyltherephthalate or diooctylphthalate and it prevents migration of above-mentioned plasticizer through it. Barrier layer is from 6 to 250 mcm thick. Barrier layer is used as sealing film during formation of network of combined ties, capable of deformation and stable to heat and pressure in formation of network of combined ties. Face member is made multilayer. Binding layer contains binding material of at least polyurethane, polyvinyl, polyolefin, some other thermoplastic or thermosetting material. Sheet material additionally has mounting adhesive located on the rear side of sealing member. Sheet material additionally has tolerant to plasticizer reinforcing member bound by means of adhesive to the rear side of sealing member. Barrier layer and face member are self-cemented directly with each other. According to the second version, barrier layer of sealing member is made in the form of film resistant to plasticizer and impermeable for moment plasticizers. Film is made of polyester, nylon, polyvinyliden chloride, copolymer of ethylene with vinyl alcohol, fluorinated polymer or metal. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 11 cl, 6 dwg, 2 tbl
