FIELD: road and pavement construction. SUBSTANCE: proposed material comprises elastic or flexible base or substrate which matches uneven surface of covering. Overlaying strong wear-resistant polyurethane layer is bonded to substrate surface. This upper layer is capable to withstand brittleness-induced fracture at temperature from 0 to 45 C and, therefore, as substrate reproduces uneven surface, upper layer easily cracks, thereby relieving stresses built up in upper layer, whereas upper layer zones defined by fractures remain bonded and fully matching substrate. Plurality of particles are embedded into upper layer and project therefrom. In its preferable embodiment, upper layer features Young modulus from 350 to 2100 MPa and relative elongation at rupture from 4 to 35%.
