AQUEOUS COMPOSITION FOR APPLYING OF COATING Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: applying of coatings. SUBSTANCE: proposed composition contains (mass %): water 32-98, binding solution 2-68. Said binding solution contains (mass %): copolymer of epoxy ether with vinyl monomers (having acid number 20-100 mg KOH/g) 30-70, cross-linking agent on the base of phenoplastic and/or aminoplastic resins 2-30, neutralizing agent on the base of ammonium and/or amine 1-7, organic solvent 20-60. Mentioned above copolymer of epoxy ether with vinyl monomers is used as epoxy film-forming agent. Said copolymer represents product of consequent interaction of 20-80 mass % of epoxy resin (comprising average more than one epoxy group per molecule and having molecular weight 500) with 1-60 mass % of ester of polycarboxylic acids (having molecular weight 500-5000 and acid number 30-150 mg KOH/g). At least 60 % of origin epoxy groups are converted into β-hydroxy ether groups. EFFECT: improved quality. 2 tbl
