FIELD: electromechanical drives of reciprocating motion, actuating motor of industrial robot. SUBSTANCE: line stepping motor has hydraulic cylinder filled with viscous fluid whose spaces communicate with the use of tube of variable section adjusted with use of screw. First and second locks are composed of correspondingly first and second permanent magnets and first and second coils wound around them. Electromagnetic translation mechanism has third permanent magnet and electromagnet placed in opposition on nonmagnetic base. Third permanent magnet is made fast to first lock and body of hydraulic cylinder. Electromagnet is linked to second lock and piston of hydraulic cylinder. EFFECT: improved smoothness of travel, adjustment and prevention of vibrations, capability of holding of locks with power supply being switched off, increased functional reliability of motor. 1 dwg
