METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF SPATIAL CELLULAR STRUCTURES OUT OF METAL BANDS AND APPARATUS FOR THEIR ASSEMBLY Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: method is used in mechanical assembling operations during production of spatial structures out of metal bands. SUBSTANCE: method of production of spatial structures out of metal bands provides for cutting and bending with given step of metal bands, that are laid one on another with alternating shift to one and other side in respect to previous band by half step of its protrusion and places of their contact are joined. In the case protrusions on bands are located at acute angle to their longitudinal axis. Apparatus for the structures assembly is made of two lengthened parts, one of which has uniformly located along its side surface rods and another one has holes located over protruding rods. Parts of apparatus are hinged to each other and protrusions are located at acute angle to apparatus longitudinal axis. Realization of the method and the apparatus allows to simplify and mechanize process of production of spatial structures out of metal bands. EFFECT: simplified process. 3 cl, 5 dwg
