FIELD: hydrometallurgy of zinc; applicable in full recovery of zinc from substandard products and lean zinc-containing solutions. SUBSTANCE: method of processing of zinc-containing solutions includes precipitation of zinc from solutions preliminarily cleaned of iron and copper by evaporation to density of 1.2-1.3 with zinc-sulfuric acid ratio of 1:1, with subsequent crystallization of zinc sulfate for 60-72 h and return of circulating solutions to leaching stage.
