FIELD: methods of wastes processing, particular, mine waters; applicable in industries having zinc-, copper- and iron-containing wastes in form of salt solutions. SUBSTANCE: sulfate metal containing electrolytes are purified from iron with the help of iron-oxidizing bacteria TH.FEROOXIDANS. After cleaning from iron, cathode sediments of copper are separated with copper-sulfuric acid ratios of 1:(0.5-3) and 1:(0.75-4) and current density of 70-300 A/sq.m and 350-650 A/sq.m, respectively, for obtaining of compact and powdery sediments. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 tbl
