FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, particular, structural steels applicable in production of hot-rolled sheets for manufacture of welded load-carrying body of telescopic boom of truck-mounted crane. SUBSTANCE: steel contains, mas.%: carbon 0.12-0.18; manganese 1.2-1.5; silicon 0.5-0.8; chromium 0.5-1.0; nickel 0.5-0.8; copper 0.03-0.3; molybdenum 0.2-0.6; vanadium 0.1-0.2; aluminum 0.02-0.05; phosphorus 0.003-0.02; sulfur 0.003-0.015; calcium 0.006-0.03; the balance, iron. To increase the steel mechanical properties, operation durability of articles and exclusion of additional heat treatment of hot-rolled sheet, the steel contains titanium in the amount of 0.01-0.03%. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 tbl
