FIELD: hydraulic non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method provides for treatment of ionite, saturated with copper and impurities of other metals, using solutions of mineral acid to produce market desorbents. In the case, initial ionite, saturated with copper and impurities of other metals, is subjected to preliminary treatment by concentrated solution of pure copper sulfate with expulsion of impurities of metals and non-ions-absorbed water with return of the latter or sorption. Saturated with copper ionite in process of desorption by solution of mineral acid forms market desorbent in the form o concentrated solution of copper sulfate without impurities. EFFECT: method allows to simplify production of copper sulfate. 1 dwg
