FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: located on parking lot are tiers of cubicles for storing automobiles on pallets, entrance cubicles for placing automobiles on pallets, elevator, device for horizontal transportation of automobile on pallet located on elevator, pallet collector which is positioned beyond entrance cubicle zone. Pallet collector mechanism is made of two pairs of vertical chain drives. Drive sprockets of each pair are interconnected by shaft. Shafts are installed in parallel and connected with single drive mechanism. Chains are provided with load-carrying protrusions located at a pitch exceeding the height of pallet and intended for taking and holding pallets, thus avoiding loading of pallet collector components with mass of automobile. This gives minimal number of drive mechanisms and high-loaded components to add to higher operational reliability of pallet collector mechanism. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
