FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: high voltage and low voltage electronic units made in form of separate assemblies on independent dielectric bases are brought to end faces of monoblock poured by compound and forming combination ignition system including ignition coil with high voltage terminal and DC converter with transformer. Heat loaded units and members are also displaced to end faces of monoblock. Thermal can be provided both due to locating low dissipating power units in central part of monoblock, and due to use of heat sinking metal brackets for attachment of monoblock to vehicle body. Axes of center of gravity of monoblock coincide with axes of attachment holes which also increases vibration resistance of system. Monoblock can be installed on standard ignition coil attachment place without changing its fasteners as it lies within the limits of coil overall dimensions. Monoblock can be used in any ignition system of automobile without changes in automobile electric circuit. EFFECT: improved reliability of ignition system owing to improved quality of electric insulation and prevention of thermal influence of electronic units onto each other and provision of thermal damping. 2 dwg
