SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines and can be used in engine ignition system with built-in fuel burning control device whose operation is based on ionic conduction of spark plug spark gap. Ignition coil has magnetic circuit made in form of rod, primary and secondary windings placed around magnetic circuit, low voltage connector, capacitor in form of cylinder with through hole, diode and high voltage connector. Axis of cylinder is parallel to axis of magnetic circuit. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of ignition coil, increased accuracy of instrument capacitor. 2 dwg
