SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has vertical shell 1 with distributing collecting chamber 2 for liquid to be heated, heat exchange surface 3, condensate cooler 12 formed by part of heat exchanger surface 3 located in casing 13 made from bent sheets 14 and 15 and connected to distributing collecting chamber 2, tube sheet 5 and baffles 6 and 16. Bent 14 and 15 are assembled in such way that inner sheet 14 which is continuous over entire height of casing 13 and outer sheets 15 which consists of parts whose number is equal to number of baffles 16 are connected to each other, to baffles 16 and to tube sheet 5 by welding.
