SUBSTANCE: proposed heat exchanger that can be used, for instance, in low- and high-pressure heaters has shell, liquid dispensing and accumulating chamber, encased heat-transfer surface with set of partitions dividing it into sections, tube plate, nondensables (air) evacuation system, and drain system; heat-transfer surface is arranged so that it is divided into four passages of which two ones are shaped in section as coupled convex semi-lenses and two other passages are shaped in section as coupled concave semi-lenses.
EFFECT: enhanced thermal efficiency, reliability, and reparability, simplified design, and facilitated manufacture of heat exchanger.
