Abstract RU 2076014 C1

FIELD: joining of metallic materials by riveting. SUBSTANCE: chamfered opening is formed in pack of parts to be joined. At side opposite relative to said chamfer rivet with countersunk head is placed into said opening. Shaped riveting die is jammed on free end of rod. Countersunk head is precompressed by abutment. Pack of parts to be riveted is compressed and closed head is formed in conditions of semirestricted upsetting at subjecting jammed die to impacts. In order to increase tightness degree before shaping closed head abutment is placed on jammed shaped riveting die. Then countersunk head is deformed by means of flat or shaped die.
