FIELD: composite materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to riveting packets of composite materials based on nonmetallic binders. Tubular sleeve gasket of heat-resistant insulation material is placed in holes of the packet and then rivet rod is put in and heated on the side of its free end. To the rod, axial deforming force is applied and closing head is formed. As heat-resistant insulation material, fibrous sheet asbestos, a lamellar material, micaceous paper, or lamellar plastic can be used. Appearance of this material is determined by makeup of packet to be riveted and by strength of riveting material. EFFECT: facilitated riveting operation. 6 cl, 2 dwg
