FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: method comes to preparation of packets, forming their volume to suit overall dimensions of articles to be packed and/or delivering articles into packets, sealing the packets and moving off filled in packets. Flap is made in packets prepared for filling in. Volume of packet is formed by delivering gas into packet through flap. In process of volume forming and filling, packet is fixed by holding the flap. When article is placed in packet, the latter is unfixed and sealed simultaneously changing its volume which is set depending on summary volume of packed articles. When filled in packet is being unfixed, empty packet is shifted to its place. Time of packet volume forming is set depending on time of filling in the packet. Time of unfixing of filled in packet is in definite relationship with time of shifting empty packet to place occupied by filled in packet. Packet area and maximum size of flap, packet volume and summary volume of packed articles, etc, are also in definite relationship. Device for implementation of proposed method has packet volume forming unit, fixing unit and panel with controls. All units of device are mounted on housing furnished with hood and platform. Working flat for articles to be packed is made on surface of hood and flat for packets is arranged on platform. Packet volume forming unit is made in form of gas filler, for instance, fan and bell with hose. Packet fixing unit has holder and is mounted on housing and/or hood and/or platform, and/or bell.
