FIELD: production of peroxides of alkaline metal carbonates. SUBSTANCE: method is carried out by non-diaphragm electrolysis of concentrated carbonate electrolyte, the process takes place in 3.9-5.4 M solution of sodium carbonate at 0-10 C. Thus prepared products interact with carbon dioxide to crystallize desired product. The process takes place at (-5)-(+10) C by bubbling of carbon dioxide, its quantity being 0.1-2.0 M of carbon dioxide per 1 gram equivalents of peroxide compounds. Said product comprises potassium peroxodicarbonate (its quantity being 70-80 weight %), potassium carbonate and potassium hydrocarbonate. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method. 1 tbl
