FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: cooling tower has exhaust channel tower 1 with air taking ports 2 arranged at exhaust channel perimeter of bottom part, water distribution system composed by two collectors 3 and 4 placed one under another symmetrically with respect to longitudinal axis of tower 1. Collectors have different opening spaces in horizontal cross-section, less one 4 nozzles are top directed but larger collector 3 is directed down and placed upper then air taking ports 2. Water distribution system has controllable valve 5 of water flow redistribution control for collectors 3 and 4. Collector 4 horizontal plane cross-section is made less then narrowest flow area cross-section of tower 1. EFFECT: better ecology protection of environments. 1 dwg
