FIELD: evaporation coolers. SUBSTANCE: process cooling liquid in water-cooling tower includes supply of water, its atomization and heat exchange with cooling air. Active zones of water-cooling tower formed by flows of cooling air are employed for cooling. Flows of cooling air do not coincide either in direction or amount with speed of particles of liquid atomized by atomizers. Airflows are generated thanks to its forced removal from upper part of water-cooling tower. EFFECT: increased operational efficiency of water-cooling tower due to intensified cooling of liquid. 6 dwg
