FIELD: measurement technology, development of high-precision measurement systems for geodesy and radio navigation. SUBSTANCE: range finding system with measurement of phase of radio signal incorporates ground and airborne transceiving stations each including reference frequency generator, frequency synthesizer, transmitter, antenna switch, antenna, receiver, phase detector and commutator- former. Ground station has correction unit, static processing unit and indicator connected in series. Correction unit is manufactured to realize equation , where Δγj is value of correction on frequency fj; C is speed of rotation of radio wave; ψj is measured phase shift on frequency fj; j is number of frequencies, j=1,2,...n. Thus increase of accuracy of range measurement is achieved thanks to determination of corrections on additional frequencies. EFFECT: increased accuracy of range measurement. 3 dwg
