FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for providing navigation and geodetic connection of above-water stationary and mobile objects. Phase radio navigation system includes at least two ground and onboard transmitter-receiver stations, an antenna switch, three receivers, three limiting amplifiers, three phase detectors and a computing unit which together make it possible to determine the directions from onboard station to each ground station and calculate the full values of phases of the received signals with any orientation of the onboard station and at any point of the system control area; the full values of the signal phases are used to calculate the high-precision coordinates of the onboard station in different operating modes of the system.
EFFECT: high accuracy of localization achieved by elimination of errors in determination of the direction to the ith ground transmitter-receiver station (GS) from onboard transmitter-receiver station (OS) when finding OS approximate coordinates.
