FIELD: chemistry of polymers. SUBSTANCE: tetrafluoroethylene is monomer for valuable fluorine-containing polymers. It is recovered from difluorochloromethane pyrolysis products by absorption of N-methyl pyrrolidone at rate of 0.7-11 kg/kg of product followed by desorption of tetrafluoroethylene dissolved in N-methyl pyrrolidone at 90-140 C. Absorption conditions: from minus 20 C to plus 30 at pressure of 1-15 atm. EFFECT: more efficient recovery process. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
