FIELD: processes for preparing high molecular polyoxymethylenes, more specifically formaldehyde, trioxane and tetraoxane copolymer in solvent. SUBSTANCE: the claimed invention provides process for neutralization of catalyst which makes it possible to use gasoline solvent for copolymerization without washing stage. Excess ammonia present in reaction mixture after neutralization of catalyst is converted into hexamethylene tetramine by adding formaldehyde solution to reaction mixture. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
