FIELD: production of polyoxymethylene glycol dimethyl esters.
SUBSTANCE: method includes polymerization of trioxane in cyclohexane in presence of telogen (e.g. methylal) and boron trifluoride ethylate as catalyst, at 60-650C followed by alkali stabilization. Reaction mixture contains: trioxane 3.4-4.4 mol/dm3, methylal 3-8 mass % in respect to trioxane, boron trifluoride ethylate 1.5-3 mass % in respect to trioxane.
EFFECT: increased yield of target esters and simplified production thereof.
