FIELD: water supply. SUBSTANCE: proposed method of supply of town with ecologically pure drinkable water consists in water intake in lower layers of water basin, in supply of water above intake reservoir of user, supply of water by bellows method into main line and piping of water by means of natural inclination of water course. Intake of water in lower layers of water basin is conducted with rate below that of soaring of bottom particles in stream of water. Filters are installed below level of maximal disturbance of water surface. Water supply system for implementation of method includes filters, pump, main water line, treatment station and distribution networks. It is provided with platform with hollow supports anchored in soil. Filters are arranged on supports in the form of ring, water pressure tank is placed on platform and is connected to water pipe-line. Ceiling made of sectors fixed with the aid of joints and connected to drive is positioned above pipe-line, filters are protected with nets.
