METHOD OF SUPPLY OF WATER TO CONSUMERS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: reconnaissance of drinking water in open water basin; water treatment and supply of water to consumers.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes finding of water inlet in open basin, connection of inlet section of water duct with filters, taking water and supplying it for treatment via main water duct. Beginning of water duct is located at level above bottom exceeding the level and upper boundary of free fall of particles of near-bottom deposits and below drift of biologically active forms and sediments settling from air-to-water interface. Treatment of water is effected through aeration by feeding water and cooled compressed air to hydraulic cyclone built in section of said water duct. Cooled compressed air is fed tangentially relative to inner wall of hydraulic cylinder in way opposite to rotation of water; foamed phase is removed to atmosphere; before delivery of water to consumers it is passed through chamber of decontamination plant between its hollow perforated partitions-radiators to whose walls ultrasonic oscillations are fed from ultrasonic acoustic wave radiator and ozone is blown these partitions-radiators at application of said waves. Water thus treated is fed from hydraulic cyclone via main water duct laid over bottom of basin.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of water supply system at improved quality of water; facilitated procedure.
