FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: nitrogen condensation passages 19 are formed by means of damper 22 above which compartment 23 for distribution of liquid oxygen is located; compartment 23 is closed in its upper end. Compartment 23 contains perforated horizontal damper 27 in the middle of its height, lining 28 with cuts being arranged under it. Liquid oxygen is introduced in these compartment at the side distributing it preliminarily through holes 33 of damper 27 by means of lining 28. It passes to adjacent oxygen evaporation passages 18 which are open at the top and at the bottom and through horizontal slot 34 located under damper 22. Heat exchanger is used in main evaporators-condensers of two-tower air distillation plants. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 12 cl, 5 dwg
