SUBSTANCE: production method of liquid product (53) and gaseous product (55, 61) by means of cryogenic air distillation produces more liquid as final product in the second mode than in the first mode. Compressed and cleaned gaseous air is cooled in all operating modes in heat exchange line (19) and directed to column with column of system (65, 67). Liquid flow (55) saturating the air component is removed from column with column of the system and evaporated in heat exchange line. Air (3) at increased pressure is supplied to heat exchange line, condensed and directed to column system, and some part of supplied air flows at least to one of two expansion tanks (29, 39), and then to column of column system. In compliance with the first operating mode some part (7) of supplied air is removed from intermediate point of heat exchange line, compressed at cryogenic temperature in cold compressor (37) and directed to heat exchange line for further cooling and directed to column system, and some portion of supplied air is directed to the first expansion tank (39). In compliance with the second mode all the supplied air (5) is compressed to high pressure which is at least by 20 bar higher than the highest pressure in column of column system in the second compressor (11, 12, 17), cooled in heat exchange line and partially directed to column system, and the other portion of air of high pressure is supplied to the second expansion tank (29).
EFFECT: use of invention will allow providing the operation at optimum power consumption at both operating modes.
