FIELD: production of small-arms ammunition. SUBSTANCE: the second pressing-in is performed with simultaneous formation of a truncated coned lug on rear end of the lead slug. After that the tail part is swaged by a punch over a length of 0.6 to 0.8 of its final length and calibrated. Then the bullet tail part is subjected to final swaging in a die.
