FIELD: weapon. SUBSTANCE: a cap is blanked out and rolled up. Semifinished item is repeatedly drawn down. Multitransitional squeezing of semifinished item is accomplished. It is stamped on the side of the inner surface until the thickness at the top is decreased down to 0.16 to 0.9 of the thickness of the semifinished item with simultaneous formation of V-grooves of variable depth increasing towards the tip on the inner surface of the head portion over a length of 0.2 to 0.9 of the length of the head portion of the semifinished item of the last squeezing. On the side of the inner cavity a through hole is punched in the tip of a diameter of 0.125 to 0.410 of the caliber with the decrease of the length of the head portion and overall length of the jacket down to 0.75 to 0.99 and 0.850 to 0.995 of the respective lengths of the semifinished item. At stamping use is made of a punch with blades on the side surface of the working member, whose radius of generating faces exceeds one caliber. The radius center is positioned from the end of the punch working member at a distance exceeding 0.325 caliber, and the points of intersection of faces with the surface of the end of the punch working member are located on a circumference of a diameter of 0.125 to 0.410 of the caliber. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
