FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: process of individual manufacture of eye glasses includes procedures carried out in following sequence: determination of parameters of frame and holders with the help of measuring device put on face part of head, manufacture of their models with reinforcements (washers imitating outline of machined lenses, rods and brackets for holders), placement of model into split cast mould, its filling with solution of temperature resistant material and drying. After final treatment of mouldings ends of holders are bent by shape of helix of patient, lenses are machined with the use of washers in the capacity of templates and eye lasses are assembled.
