FIELD: ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: device for testing visual fields for glasses is made in the form of a U-shaped frame. The free ends of the frame are equipped with fastening elements to the frame in the area of the lenses or directly to both lenses of the glasses in the area of the bridge of the glasses. From the horizontal shelf of the frame, brackets bent down are directed in opposite directions, located in the plane of the frame outside the user’s focus of vision and along the frame of the glasses. At the ends of the brackets, on the side facing the frame, there is a marker or signal element in the form of a bend of the bracket directed towards the frame or a protrusion on it or a color spot. In another embodiment, each bracket is made of a part rigidly connected to the frame, and a part that carries a marker or signal element at its end and is connected to the first part with the possibility of changing the length of the bracket. In another embodiment, the extensions in the form of extensions of the brackets are directed across the frame or at an angle to it and they carry on the free ends, bent towards the frame, a marker or signal element in the form of a bend or protrusion directed towards the frame or a color spot on it. In another embodiment, the L-shaped bracket extends perpendicularly from the base element. The horizontal part of the L-shaped bracket is located above the level of the base element and at the free end it is made with an extension directed downward. At the free end of the extension located below the level of the base element, a marker or signal element is placed in the form of a bend or protrusion or a color spot directed towards the base element.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the test results obtained over a long period of use of the device is achieved, as well as ease of use of the device due to its location outside the user’s focus of vision, which allows timely and early detection of signs of glaucoma independently at any time in any place.
