ELECTRICAL HEATER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: heater has tungsten made heating member, external and internal feeders for current. Along heating member there are transversal slots pairs in each cross-section and steps made turned by 90 deg for adjacent cross-sections. Internal feeder is made composed by two members which one is placed inside of heating member and it is made like tungsten rod connected to heating member by tantalum lug, second one is made like molybdenum bar placed in external feeder connected directly to heating member. Internal and external current feeders are made coaxial and aligned by ceramic separators with ceramic dowel fixing. Feeders upper parts are made with cylindrical surfaces to provide current supply connection. EFFECT: better uniformity of high temperature heating of work item. 4 cl, 1 dwg
