ALL-CROP DRILL OPENER GANG Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering; drill openers. SUBSTANCE: all-crop drill opener gang has main frame 1 with fitted on detachable frame 2 with seed guides 3, closers 4 and drag coverer 5, pressure rods 6 and gang of roll spherical openers 7. Novelty in design of opener gang is that each opener is made of two convex disks 64, 65 rigidly interconnected with convexities outwards so that disk knife 66 in form of ring secured between convexities projects beyond the edges of disks 64, 65. Convex surfaces of these disks are of combination design with straight line section 67 in central portion constituting one third of diameter and spherical section at edges of disks with radius of sphere equal to two thirds of their diameter. EFFECT: increased yield owing to forming of seed trenches with compacted bottom and side vails at different agricultural backgrounds uniform distribution of seeds in depth and covered area. 4 dwg
