FIELD: methods of separation of emulsions of immiscible liquids. SUBSTANCE: method of separation of emulsions from immiscible liquids of different density, for instance, water-oil, is based on coalescence of finely emulsified particles of oil on oleophylic threads with their subsequent separation from water on a hydrophobic semipermeable fibrous membrane. The device for embodiment of the offered method is a cylindrical body together with central tube in form of communicating vessels. Central tube is filled with coalescing member in form of fiber bundle. Installed in body is partition in form of semipermeable fibrous membrane. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
