FIELD: devices for humidifying, cooling and cleaning of air from pollutants; applicable in industry and household. SUBSTANCE: device for air scrubbing includes partition which consists of a row of horizontal plates installed one over the other, and water dispensing pipeline with regulated discharge slot. Adjacent plates of partition are installed in a spaced relation to each other for turning relative to their longitudinal horizontal axes. Lower edge of each plate is located closer to the central plane of partition than the upper edge of its adjacent plate. Horizontal axes of plates may be located in one vertical or inclined plane. The device may be provided with additional partition whose central plane is parallel to the central plane of the first partition. In this case, plates of neighboring partitions are checkered. Plates may be made of transparent material of flat and profiled shape.
