FIELD: production of protectors for motor-car tires. SUBSTANCE: rubber and substances facilitating rubber treatment are charged into double-screw extruder. Charge is plasticized, heated up to 150-180 C, and held at this temperature with help of controllable extruding throttle arranged in process portion of extruder. Carbon blank is added first in amount 10-80% based on its total amount. Adjuvant components are injected and mixed together, whereafter second portion of carbon black is added at temperature 150-180 C. Resulting rubber stock is cooled to 100-120 C, followed by adding cross-linking agents and by mixing. Rubber stock is homogenized, cooled down and subjected to extruding.
