FIELD: tire industry; applicable in assembly of casings of radial tires. SUBSTANCE: drum for assembly and forming of tire casings has drive shaft carrying mounted shaped rings, and axially movable with flanges, cylindrical outer and inner shells concentric to drive shaft and rigidly connected with respective flanges, and circular piston telescopically mounted inside outer shell. Drum has stop rings for limiting the motion of circular piston. Circular piston is mounted for engagement with outer surface of inner shell and installed for free motion relative to flanges and shells. Stop rings are rigidly secured to rings of outer and inner shells to limit the stroke of circular piston. For engagement of movable bodies, they are provided with adjusting stop screws of shaped rings. Movable bodies have additional adjusting stop screw for engagement with shaped rings.
