FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: complex includes aft load-bearing hydrofoil provided with at least one streamlined profiled strut through which water conduit of water jet propeller passes; water-jet propeller is provided with total-head water scoop with bevelled shear of inlet cross section; inlet section of water scoop and lower horizontal section of water conduit are made in form of triangle in cross section. Vertex of triangle of inlet section with bevelled shear of water scoop is located on leading edge of strut profile of aft load-bearing hydrofoil; side of triangle opposite to its vertex is located not above leading edge of aft load-bearing hydrofoil in parallel with it. Side walls of water scoop are smoothly engageable with strut and aft load-bearing hydrofoil; inner surfaces of this water scoop are engageable with walls of water conduit of water-jet propeller.
