FIELD: small-arms ammunition. SUBSTANCE: ammunition has a case based in the barrel cartridge chamber on an annular stop located in the case transverse plane, primer cap, propellant charge and a non-metallic readily deformable spherical bullet. The case mouth is made in the form of a tapering truncated cone, whose larger base outside diameter does not exceed the bore diameter of standard weapon, and a reinforcing ring is expanded into the smaller base. Corrugations are made in the middle part of the case lateral surface, the distance from the breech end of the case to the annular stop equals the live ammunition case length, and the external dimensions of the training ammunition do not exceed the dimensions of a live ammunition of standard weapon. EFFECT: ammunition can be used in standard automatic or semiautomatic weapon without any use of subcaliber barrels, which reduces the time of transition to fire by training ammunition and back. 2 dwg
