FIELD: mechanical engineering; elevators. SUBSTANCE: side guard of elevator car interior is assembled of sections 5 made of rolled-form sheet sections of length equal to length of corresponding wall of side guard and arranged horizontally, one over the other, so that bent portions of sections are mated and rigidly coupled. Sections 5 are pressed to pillars 9 of car framework by means of angular braces 7 and support inserts 11 placed inside sections in the area of their contact with angular braces 7.
