FIELD: ozone generation. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generating ozone by aid of electric discharge to be used in biology, medicine, chemistry and other applications. Tubular ozonator contains coaxially arranged electrodes, one of them being in the form of coil. A dielectric element is disposed between electrodes whose surface, faced to coil electrode, is rough or has a surface layer with unfilled structure, for example, cellular structure or with dielectric material inclusions, which differs from basis material in dielectric permittivity.
