FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of fluorescent screen from polymer film includes frosting of film surface by means of contract with means frosting surface with heating, cooling of film and its separation from frosting means. Textile cloth is used as surface frosting means. Contracting is carried out by superimposition of textile cloth on one surface of film and frosting-by thermal pressing of film under mode corresponding to softening of material of film. Cooling is conducted till film hardens. After hardening of film pressure is removed and textile cloth is separated. If textile cloth is superimposed on both surfaces of polymer film cloths can have different structures of interwoven longitudinal and lateral threads. Part of structure of textile cloth can have some pattern of interwoven threads. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture. 3 cl
